Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Associate Project Manager will be responsible for supporting delivery within the Professional Services team.
Associate Project Manager
Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Associate Project Manager will be responsible for supporting delivery within the Professional Services team. The Associate Project Manager will work with the senior members of the team to deliver one or multiple projects, deliver expected outcomes and meet stakeholder expectations with the brief and constraints of time, cost, scope & quality.
Core Responsibilities
- Ability to work within a fast-paced business with enterprise clients, whilst retaining a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Support project scopes and responsibilities in conjunction with sales, pre-sales, technical lead(s) and management
- Plan projects and oversee resources allocated to the project
- Liaise with clients and project sponsors as a key member of the delivery team, managing the deliverable and responsibilities with diplomacy and tact
- Highlight project risks and escalate changes in risk profile, effects on deliverables and any financial impact
- Monitor progress and manage project scope throughout the duration of the project. Maintain and communicate accurate forecasts, project plans and status reports.
- Resilient, and able to execute on a plan even when encountering challenges.
- Self-organised and able to manage competing priorities.
- As a key member of the PMO team, support in establishing high standards.
Skills and Requirements
- Some experience of working on, managing or leading digital projects successfully (including planning, problem solving, managing risk and budget or resource responsibility)
- Experience working in data analytics, BI or related field preferred, but not essential
- Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent MS Office skills including Project, advanced Excel & PowerPoint
- Knowledge of analytical/statistical techniques and/or presentation tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.) is desirable
- Desirable to have a recognized project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM to foundation levels)
- Fluent English is essential with the legal right to work in the US
